This site was produced by the students of Hood College's online Journalism class. This course covers the principles and practices of online journalism, including writing and editing for online media; blogging and other forms of user-generated content; gathering and editing images, audio and video for online use; and legal and ethical issues facing online journalists.

The goals of the course are:

The basic applications that allow information to exchange over the Internet, including HTML and CSS
The concept of convergence and how it affects online journalism
Forms of online journalism, including blogs, hyperlocal and news aggregator sites
